The Challenge 


I challenged myself to write a 100-word entry.  (Ok, my crazy blog teacher did.)
Exactly.  (That's all me!)
Editing 160 words to 130 was easy. 130 to 100 was heart-bracingly, disturbingly 
difficult. (67 mins., a diet coke, 5 mins., "The Day After Tomorrow," 43 mins.) 

Bollocks.

    Now imagine you only had 140 characters.

    But I have the same difficulty. The first round of cutting is easy, but the difficulty increases exponentially each round.

    Trimming so often can reveal truths, just the flensed-down heart of the matter. And other times, you just feel aggrieved towards your writing teacher or editor or whoever is cracking the whip! Hopefully, y'all found the fun here.
